Hosting
Hosting a Chamber event is a great way to help your business while also helping the Chamber. We are currently looking for event hosts for our semi- monthly Business After Hours Networking Events and our New and Prospective Member Breakfasts!
Benefits to Hosting an Event
• Name and logo on all marketing
• Blast e-mails go out to over 1600 email subscribers
• Monthly INBusiness Newsletter goes to all registered businesses in Newton and Needham (more than 5,000 businesses)
• Opportunity to speak at the event
• Opportunity to hand-out and display your own company marketing materials
• Opportunity to invite your own clients/customers to the event
• Opportunity to showcase your business to the community
What an Event Host is expected to provide:
• Venue - minimum capacity of 50 people for AfterHours Networking and 30 people for New and Prospective Member Breakfasts
• Food (some type of appetizers for evening events and breakfast food for morning events, catering is optional)*
• Drinks (preferably including some type of beer/wine for evening events)*
• One Raffle Item (to be used as a door prize)
• FUN atmosphere (Be creative: fun theme, decorations, music, etc.)
• *You might want to consider getting additional funding to cover food/beverage costs from a client/sponsor. We will mention them on all advertising as well.
What the Chamber Will Provide:
• General Marketing
• Blast e-mails
• Advertisements in monthly INBusiness Newsletter (including post event photos)
• Posting on the Chamber website event calendar
• Flyers
• Event registration (prior to the event and at the event)
• Nametags
