New Year's Holiday Party: The
annual New Year's Bash has become a favorite tradition at the chamber. It's anybody's guess as to what unique and out-of-the-box venue
we'll choose to kick off another year of chamber events. It's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your chamber friends after the
holiday break...and start the year off right.
Needham Night: A long-time tradition that gathers the town's top business and civic leaders together to kick off the new year and celebrate all the things that make Needham such a special place.
Member Appreciation Nights: Member only events at our largest hospitality partners are one of the most popular privileges of chamber membership.
Spring Seasonings: Annual
restaurant tasting event - 40 plus restaurants and beverage providers with close to 500 attendees. The chamber’s largest community event
of the year.
Spring Business Breakfast: The Environment Committee’s premier event brings together business owners and community leaders from both Newton and Needham on behalf of a worthy cause and awards those businesses who use green business practices in their daily operations.
Needham Street Fairs - Spring & Harvest: The
Newton-Needham Regional Chamber is proud to continue the long-time town tradition of Needham's two large community-wide events - the Spring
Street Fair and the Fall Harvest Fair. Lively celebrations on the town's common attended by thousands each June and September, these annual
events transform Needham Center into a showcase of local businesses, community organizations, kid fun and good food.
Children’s Charitable Golf Tournament: The
tournament is an excellent opportunity to mix and mingle with local business leaders and promote your business while making a charitable
contribution to a local nonprofit.
Fall Business Breakfast and Annual Meeting: The largest annual gathering of area business and civic leaders, our annual breakfast features a keynote speaker and honors two student entrepreneurs and two community activists for their contributions to Newton and Needham.
Youth Entrepreneur Awards: This
exclusive opportunity would make your company the sole sponsor of the four Community Awards presented by the chamber at the Annual Fall
Business Breakfast and Annual Meeting in November, the largest annual gathering of business and civic leaders in our communities.
Regional Real Estate Forum: Provides an outlook of the top real estate trends for Greater Boston and surrounding areas poised for growth.
Women's Golf Clinic: Up to 50 professional women, from novice to seasoned golfer, will participate in the chamber's golf clinic at a chamber member golf course.
Sustainable Initiatives
The heart of the chamber's mission.
Women in Networking: The chamber’s busiest committee, this series hosts a minimum of four events during the course of the year plus the popular monthly WIN Luncheons. These events present a great opportunity to sponsor topics and issues important to women in the business community.
Young Professionals Group: The YPG hosts popular monthly meet ups on the 2nd Wednesday of each month plus workshops and activities geared towards under 40 professionals
in the area.
Nonprofit Committee: The Nonprofit Committee is comprised of high level leaders of both small and large nonprofit organizations who will meet monthly to create, schedule and help execute networking opportunities and informational programming for this important segment of chamber membership.
ShopLocal Campaign: Our ShopLocal, DineLocal, BankLocal and DrinkLocal campaigns are all part of the continuing effort to bolster business and keep our communities
thriving. The year-round campaign is aimed at educating residents about the many benefits of supporting local merchants, restaurant and
service providers.
Coffee Connects: High energy gatherings that regularly draw a sizeable crowd of both members and prospective members across many professions looking to
start their day by building relationships through the chamber.
N2 Innovation District Initiative: The Newton-Needham Regional Chamber, in collaboration with the City of Newton and the Town of Needham, has identified an area along the I-95 in the two communities as a destination for technology companies, start-ups and other innovators. Speakers and workshops by industry experts on topics that resonate to a specific segment of chamber membership.
Small Business Seminar Series: Educational
workshops and programs important to small business owners. The events are also excellent networking events for building relationships
with other chamber members.
Lawyers Council: A committee of member lawyers from all areas of business law plans and executes quarterly legal themed programming relevant to current hot topics. Primarily panels and workshops, these law-based educational forums are designed to help local business professionals navigate common legal challenges.
Real Estate & Development Series: Programs and events drawing on the considerable leadership and expertise that exists in the Newton and Needham area in all aspects
of real estate development, acquisitions, management and investment.
Speed Networking: Members gather at these morning events to meet like-minded people, generate leads and form new relationships at this rapid-fire business-building event.
Multi-chamber Events: Several times a year we’ll invite one of more of our neighboring chambers to join us for a night of new faces and new connections.
